John Mead: Evolving Nature

CREATION web

We are honoured to be hosting artist John Mead's latest stunning exhibition, 'Evolving Nature' at Camyoga Shelford throughout January. Join us for the private view of John's large scale photographic works on Fri 17th January from 7pm, featuring live Singing Bowls and moving image, in a multimedia extravaganza which will delight the senses!

About Singing Bowls

Singing Bowls are a type of bell, originating in Asia, which are used for meditation, music, relaxation and wellbeing. The sound they create (said to be the sound of OM which we often use in yoga practice) invokes a state of deep relaxation and stimulates the chakra system. Singing bowls are often used in healing practices because of the vibrations they emit. The sound of singing bowls is not only heard but felt in the body too - an amazing sensory experience.

About Evolving Nature

"I use photography to capture a fixed point in time, a frozen moment of evolution at work. This unique millisecond is then integrated with others and cultivated, continuing that process to create new life; transporting the viewer to a world of the imagination."  - John Mead

We hope you'll join us for this one-off inspiring evening of music, image and experience. All are welcome so bring along your friends! Drinks and nibbles too, of course. Click here to RSVP.
